  1. Dear Pete,

My husband John and I had the privilege of attending your 90th birthday party held at Madison Square Garden. It was a delightful eveing and brought back so many memories. I was so impressed with your intent on contiuing the clean up of the hudson aboard the ClearWater and educating the new generations. I was glad to contribute.
My husband John a retired principal from Wappingers had the pleasure of accompying one of his many classes aboard the Clear Water.
We now have four grandchildren living with us and seems we are returning to our younger days in spirit, even though the body doesn’t always keep up.
These children are active, baseball, karate, volunteering at the Library and they are having a summer barbecue for there friends on June 14th at 2:00.
Flag day at our home. I am expecting 30-40 children. These children do not know anything about the Clear Water.
If you have any literaure you can give me, I will be glad to put it in their goodie bags. Of course, if you are up to it and out and about that day, join us for hamburger. I will introduce the new generation to Mr. Pete Seeger, a Living Legend.
No one can adequaely thank you for the good you have done, all the hope you have given and the dreams you have inspired , but I know your true reward lies above. God Bless You.

    Dear Peter!
I just heard with my baby daughter (who is 9 months old) your song Where are all the flowers gone that you sing with your grand son Tao Rodriguez and we just loved it. Now you have friends in Brazil too. Love Flórence and Annie.
